OMOPHub API Service

These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and OMOPHub LLC ("OMOPHub," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the OMOPHub API service, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS TERMS OF SERVICE, THE DATA USE AGREEMENT (STATED BELOW), AND ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (STATED BELOW), ALL OF WHICH ARE INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE, AND PRIVACY POLICY.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, YOU SHOULD NOT ACCEPT THEM, NOR SHOULD YOU CREATE AN ACCOUNT OR USE THE PRODUCT.
1. Definitions
"API" means the OMOPHub application programming interface through which Users access vocabulary data.
"API Key" means the unique authentication credential issued to each User account for API access.
"OMOP CDM" means the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership Common Data Model maintained by OHDSI.
"Service Tier" means the subscription level selected by User (including Free, Professional, Business, and Enterprise).
"Third-Party Content" means vocabulary content and data owned and licensed by third parties, including but not limited to SNOMED CT, ICD-10-PCS, RxNorm, LOINC, and other standardized medical terminologies that are subject to separate licensing requirements.
"Vocabulary Data" means medical terminology concepts, relationships, mappings, and associated metadata accessible through the Service.
2. Service Description
2.1 Nature of Service
OMOPHub provides a RESTful API service enabling programmatic access to standardized medical vocabularies in OMOP CDM format. The Service facilitates vocabulary lookup, concept search, relationship traversal, and terminology mapping for healthcare data science and analytics applications.
2.2 Intermediary Status
OMOPHUB ACTS SOLELY AS A TECHNICAL INTERMEDIARY AND IS NOT THE LICENSOR OF THIRD-PARTY CONTENT.
OMOPHub aggregates and provides technical access to vocabulary content from multiple third-party sources. We do not own, create, or independently verify the accuracy of Third-Party Content. Your use of Third-Party Content is subject to the applicable third-party license agreements between you and the respective vocabulary owners.
2.3 Service Tiers
The subscription to the Services requires prepayment of fees ("Subscription Fees").
The Service is offered in the following tiers:
- Free Tier: Limited API calls per month, standard rate limits, current vocabulary version only, community support
- Professional Tier: Increased API call volume, higher rate limits, historical vocabulary versions, email support
- Business Tier: High-volume API access, webhook notifications, priority support, extended historical versions
- Enterprise Tier: Custom volume, dedicated support, SLA guarantees, on-premise options
Current rates and tier-specific terms, including rate limits, call volumes, and features, are detailed on our pricing page and are incorporated herein by reference.
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To access the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, complete and compliant with applicable laws. Registration on behalf of another individual or entity without proper legal authorization is prohibited.
3.2 API Key Security
Upon registration, you will be issued an API Key associated with your account. You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your API Key
- All activities that occur using your API Key
- Immediately notifying OMOPHub of any unauthorized use
OMOPHub is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your API Key.
3.3 Account Eligibility
You represent and warrant that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement; (c) are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law; and (d) will use the Service only in compliance with this Agreement and all applicable laws.
4. Third-Party Vocabulary Licensing
4.1 User Licensing Responsibility
OMOPHUB DOES NOT GRANT ANY LICENSE RIGHTS IN THIRD-PARTY CONTENT.
Many vocabularies accessible through the Service are subject to licensing requirements imposed by their respective owners. You are solely responsible for:
- Determining which vocabularies require licenses for your intended use
- Obtaining all necessary licenses directly from vocabulary owners
- Maintaining valid licenses throughout your use of the Service
- Ensuring all personnel accessing the Service comply with applicable license terms
4.2 User Representations and Warranties
By accessing Third-Party Content through the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You have obtained all necessary licenses, authorizations, and permissions required for your use of such content
- You will not use the Service to access content for which you lack proper authorization
- You will not exceed the scope of any licenses you hold
- You accept sole responsibility for determining and satisfying all licensing requirements applicable to your intended use
- You will ensure all authorized users within your organization comply with applicable third-party license terms
- You are responsible for keeping your details, including email address accurate and up to date
4.3 No Waiver of Third-Party Rights
Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as: (a) a representation that you have any license rights to Third-Party Content; (b) a waiver of any third-party licensing requirements; or (c) an assumption by OMOPHub of any liability for your compliance with third-party license terms.
5. Payment and Billing
5.1 Subscription Fees
The subscription to the Services requires prepayment of fees ("Subscription Fees") as per the Paid Service Tiers set forth on our pricing page. All fees are quoted in United States dollars and are non-refundable except as expressly provided in this Agreement. The fees must be paid in accordance with the billing terms effective at the time of payment.
5.2 Billing Cycle
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 1 day prior to renewal.
5.3 Taxes
All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Subscription fees must be paid in full, without any deduction, withholding, or set-off. The Customer is responsible for paying all taxes related to its use of the Subscription and associated services.
5.4 Price Changes
OMOPHub reserves the right to modify pricing upon 30 days' written notice by email to the address provided at registration. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
6. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a material breach of this Agreement and constitutes a sufficient ground for immediate termination.
7. Data Use and Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to the Data Use Agreement and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 OMOPHub Property
The Service, including its software, APIs, documentation, trademarks, and service marks, is owned by OMOPHub or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in this Agreement grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service except for the limited access rights expressly set forth herein.
8.2 Third-Party Intellectual Property
Third-Party Content is owned by the respective vocabulary owners and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Your use of Third-Party Content is governed by the applicable third-party license agreements.
8.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service, you grant OMOPHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use such feedback for any purpose.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL THIRD-PARTY CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
OMOPHUB HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:
- Any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement
- Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or virus-free
- Any warranty that Vocabulary Data will be accurate, complete, current, or reliable
- Any warranty regarding the results obtained from use of the Service
- Any warranty arising from course of dealing, course of performance, or trade practice
OMOPHUB DOES NOT INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND DISCLAIMS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR INACCURACIES IN SUCH CONTENT.
10. Medical Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.
Vocabulary content accessible through the Service is provided for informational and reference purposes only. The Service is NOT intended to:
- Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
- Substitute for professional medical judgment or clinical decision-making
- Serve as a diagnostic tool or primary clinical decision support system
- Create a physician-patient relationship
Healthcare professionals must exercise independent professional judgment in all clinical matters. Do not rely solely on vocabulary lookups for patient care decisions. OMOPHUB SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY THAT VOCABULARY DATA IS SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR CLINICAL APPLICATION.
11. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL OMOPHUB'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
IN NO EVENT SHALL OMOPHUB BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
- Cost of procurement of substitute services
- Interruption of use or loss or corruption of data
- Damages arising from third-party licensing disputes
- Damages arising from reliance on Vocabulary Data for clinical decisions
REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF OMOPHUB HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. The foregoing limitations shall not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OMOPHub, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:
- Your use of the Service or Third-Party Content
- Your violation of any term of this Agreement
- Your violation of any third-party licensing requirements for content accessed through the Service
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Any claim that your use of Third-Party Content infringes or misappropriates any intellectual property or other right of any third party
- Your redistribution of vocabulary content in violation of applicable license terms
- Any application, product, or service you develop using the Service
13. Third-Party Beneficiaries
The owner of intellectual property rights in any vocabulary content accessible through this Service (including without limitation SNOMED International, Regenstrief Institute, the National Library of Medicine, and their successors and assigns) shall be a third-party beneficiary to this Agreement and shall have the right to enforce the Agreement against any User that violates any provision pertaining to such Vocabulary Data.
14. Term and Termination
14.1 Term
This Agreement commences upon your acceptance and continues until terminated.
14.2 Termination by User
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by canceling your subscription and ceasing use of the Service. Prepaid fees for the current billing period are non-refundable.
14.3 Termination by OMOPHub
OMOPHub may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach this Agreement, Terms of Use, violate third-party licensing requirements, or fail to pay applicable fees.
14.4 Effect of Termination
Upon termination: (a) your right to access the Service immediately ceases; (b) your API Key will be deactivated; (c) you must cease all use of Third-Party Content obtained through the Service except as permitted by your direct licenses with vocabulary owners; and (d) Sections 4, 8-13, and 15-18 shall survive termination.
15. Modifications to Service and Terms
OMOPHub reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time. We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
16.1 Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
16.2 Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
16.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIMS SHALL BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
16.4 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information.
17. Compliance and Cooperation
17.1 Export Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations in your use of the Service.
17.2 Cooperation with Vocabulary Owners
OMOPHub may disclose User identity and usage information to third-party vocabulary owners in response to legitimate inquiries regarding licensing compliance. You consent to such disclosure and agree to cooperate with any investigation by vocabulary owners regarding your compliance with applicable license terms.
18. General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with the Data Use Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and OMOPHub concerning the Service and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
18.2 Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18.3 Waiver
The failure of OMOPHub to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
18.4 Assignment
You may not assign this Agreement without OMOPHub's prior written consent. OMOPHub may assign this Agreement without restriction.

18.6 Force Majeure
OMOPHub shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or internet service disruptions.

Acceptable Use Policy
OMOPHub API Service
Effective Date: December 1st, 2025
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the OMOPHub API service (the "Service"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the OMOPHub Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service.
1. Permitted Uses
The OMOPHub API is provided for the following legitimate purposes and subject to a respective license for a Vocabulary Data from a Third Party:
- Terminology lookup and validation for healthcare data processing
- Vocabulary mapping and crosswalks between coding systems
- Healthcare data harmonization and standardization
- Research and analytics involving medical terminology
- Application development requiring terminology reference services
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for healthcare data
- Clinical data quality assessment and validation
- Educational and training purposes related to medical terminologies
- Building healthcare interoperability solutions
2. Prohibited Uses
You shall NOT use the Service for any of the following purposes:
2.1 Licensing Violations
- Accessing vocabulary content for which you lack required licenses
- Redistributing vocabulary content in violation of third-party license terms
- Bulk downloading vocabulary content for redistribution, resale, or creation of a competing service
- Creating derivative works where prohibited by vocabulary licenses
- Circumventing technical controls designed to enforce licensing requirements
- Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright notices, license information, or attribution requirements
- Representing to any third party that OMOPHub has licensed you to use Third-Party Content
- Sharing API credentials with unlicensed third parties to enable their access to restricted content
2.2 Clinical Safety Restrictions
THE SERVICE IS NOT INTENDED FOR DIRECT CLINICAL DECISION-MAKING.
- Using the Service as a primary clinical decision support system for real-time patient care
- Relying solely on vocabulary lookups for diagnosis or treatment decisions
- Using the Service in any manner that could directly endanger patient safety
- Substituting API responses for professional medical judgment
Healthcare professionals must exercise independent clinical judgment. The Service provides terminology reference data, not clinical recommendations.
2.3 Technical Restrictions
- Exceeding documented API rate limits for your Service Tier
- Using automated means to systematically extract substantial portions of vocabulary data
- Attempting to access vocabularies for which you have not demonstrated license compliance
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, servers, or connected networks
- Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service
- Attempting to breach or circumvent security or authentication measures
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the Service
- Using the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Overloading the Service with excessive requests designed to degrade performance
- Scraping, parsing, data mining, or using web harvesting tools except through authorized API endpoints
2.4 Legal and Ethical Restrictions
- Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Infringing any intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights
- Using vocabulary data to discriminate against individuals based on health status or medical conditions
- Using the Service to support or facilitate fraudulent healthcare billing
- Violating the privacy rights of any person
- Engaging in any activity that violates the terms of applicable vocabulary licenses
3. Rate Limits and Usage Quotas
The Service is subject to rate limits and usage quotas based on your Service Tier. Requests exceeding rate limits will receive HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) responses. Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent access restrictions.
4. API Key Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API Key. You shall:
- Keep your API Key confidential and not share it with unauthorized parties
- Not embed API Keys in client-side code, public repositories, or publicly accessible locations
- Use environment variables or secure credential management systems for API Key storage
- Implement appropriate access controls for systems using your API Key
- Immediately rotate your API Key if you suspect it has been compromised
- Immediately notify OMOPHub of any unauthorized use of your API Key
OMOPHub reserves the right to revoke API Keys suspected of compromise or misuse.
5. Data Handling Requirements
When using vocabulary data obtained through the Service, you shall:
- COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE THIRD-PARTY LICENSE TERMS
- Include required attribution notices in products and publications
- Not represent vocabulary data as your own original work
- Implement appropriate caching strategies to minimize API calls
- Not store vocabulary data in a manner that enables unauthorized redistribution
- Respect vocabulary version dependencies and update schedules
6. Integration Requirements
Applications integrating with the OMOPHub API shall:
- Implement appropriate retry logic with exponential backoff for failed requests
- Respect HTTP caching headers returned by the API
- Include a valid User-Agent header identifying your application
- Not spoof or misrepresent the origin of API requests
- Implement appropriate timeouts to prevent hung connections
7. Monitoring and Enforcement
7.1 Usage Monitoring
OMOPHub monitors API usage to ensure compliance with this AUP, detect abuse, and maintain service quality. Monitoring includes:
- Request volume and rate limit compliance
- Access patterns and anomaly detection
- Error rates and response times
- Vocabulary access patterns for license compliance verification
7.2 Enforcement Actions
Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions:
- Warning notice via email
- Temporary rate limit reduction
- Temporary suspension of API access
- Permanent termination of API access
- Disclosure of violation to affected vocabulary owners
- Legal action to recover damages
The specific enforcement action will depend on the severity, frequency, and nature of the violation. We reserve the right to take immediate action without prior notice for severe violations.
7.3 Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you may appeal by contacting legal@omophub.com within 30 days of the action. Appeals will be reviewed and responded to within 30 days.
8. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP by yourself or others, please report it immediately to:

We will investigate all credible reports and take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.

Data Use Agreement
OMOPHub API Service

This Data Use Agreement ("DUA") governs your access to and use of vocabulary data through the OMOPHub API Service ("Service"). This DUA is incorporated into and forms part of the OMOPHub Terms of Service.
1. Definitions
Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Service. Additionally:
"Open Content" means vocabulary data that is freely available without licensing restrictions, such as ICD-10-PCS and certain OHDSI-created vocabularies.
"Permitted Use" means use in accordance with this DUA, the Terms of Service, and all applicable third-party license terms.
"Restricted Content" means vocabulary data that requires additional verification or subscription status before access is granted through the Service.
"Vocabulary Data" means medical terminology concepts, relationships, mappings, and associated metadata accessible through the Service.
"Third-Party Content" means vocabulary content and data owned and licensed by third parties, including but not limited to SNOMED CT, ICD-10-PCS, RxNorm, LOINC, and other standardized medical terminologies accessible through the Service that are subject to separate licensing requirements from the applicable vocabulary owner.
2. Grant of Access
2.1 Limited Access Right
Subject to the terms of this DUA and the Terms of Service, OMOPHub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the API solely for Permitted Use.
This grant does not include any license or intellectual property rights in Third-Party Content.
2.2 Access Controls
Access to certain vocabulary content may be controlled based on:
- Your Service Tier subscription level
- Your demonstrated compliance with third-party licensing requirements
- Technical rate limits and usage quotas
- Vocabulary-specific access restrictions
2.3 No Sublicense Rights
You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute access to the Service or vocabulary data obtained through the Service. You may incorporate vocabulary data into applications and analyses for your internal use or for end users, subject to applicable license terms, but you may not operate a competing vocabulary access service.
3. User Licensing Obligations
3.1 License Determination
Before accessing any vocabulary through the Service, you must:
- Determine the applicable licensing requirements for your intended use
- Evaluate whether your use qualifies for any exemptions or free access provisions
- Obtain all required licenses directly from vocabulary owners
- Maintain documentation of your license status
3.2 License Maintenance
You must maintain valid licenses throughout your use of the Service. If your license for any vocabulary expires or is terminated, you must immediately cease accessing that vocabulary through the Service.
3.3 License Verification
OMOPHub may require verification of your license status before enabling access to Restricted Content. You agree to provide documentation of your licenses upon request. Failure to provide adequate documentation may result in access restrictions.
4. Vocabulary-Specific Acknowledgments
By accessing vocabulary content through the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
4.1 SNOMED CT
This material includes SNOMED Clinical Terms® (SNOMED CT®) which is used by permission of SNOMED International. All rights reserved. SNOMED CT® was originally created by the College of American Pathologists. "SNOMED" and "SNOMED CT" are registered trademarks of SNOMED International.
Users in SNOMED International Member Territories must register with their National Release Center. Users in the United States may access SNOMED CT through the NLM UMLS with appropriate registration. Users in Non-Member Territories must obtain an Affiliate License from SNOMED International.
You agree that you will not: (a) extract any substantial portion of SNOMED CT for purposes other than those permitted by your license; or (b) charge fees for access to SNOMED CT content.
4.2 ICD-10-PCS
ICD-10-PCS is a public domain work of the United States Government, developed and maintained by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). No license is required for use of ICD-10-PCS content. Attribution is appreciated but not legally required.
4.3 RxNorm
RxNorm is produced by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and is available as part of the UMLS Metathesaurus. Use of RxNorm requires UMLS Terminology Services registration, which is free of charge. You must comply with the UMLS Metathesaurus License Agreement.
4.4 LOINC
LOINC® is a registered trademark of Regenstrief Institute, Inc. LOINC content is available under the LOINC License Agreement, which is free and requires acceptance of its terms. Attribution is required when using LOINC content.
4.5 Other Vocabularies
Additional vocabularies accessible through the Service may have their own licensing requirements. You are responsible for determining and complying with applicable license terms for all vocabularies you access.
5. Attribution Requirements
You shall include all attribution notices required by applicable vocabulary licenses in any products, publications, or outputs using vocabulary data accessed through this Service. Required attributions include:
- SNOMED CT: "This material includes SNOMED Clinical Terms® (SNOMED CT®) which is used by permission of SNOMED International."
- LOINC: "This product includes LOINC®. The LOINC® codes, LOINC® table and LOINC® panels and forms file are copyright © 1995-2025, Regenstrief Institute, Inc."
- RxNorm: "This product uses publicly available data from the U.S. National Library of Medicine."
Specific attribution language may vary based on your use case and applicable license terms. Consult the relevant vocabulary license agreements for precise requirements.
6. Data Accuracy and Quality
6.1 No Warranty of Accuracy
OMOPHub does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or currency of vocabulary data. Vocabulary content is provided as received from source vocabularies and OHDSI ATHENA. OMOPHub makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of vocabulary data for any particular purpose.
6.2 Vocabulary Updates
Vocabulary content is updated periodically based on source vocabulary release schedules. Updates may add, modify, or deprecate concepts. You are responsible for managing vocabulary version dependencies in your applications.
6.3 Error Reporting
If you identify errors in vocabulary data, please report them to the appropriate vocabulary maintainers.
7. Audit Rights
OMOPHub reserves the right to audit your use of the Service to verify compliance with this DUA and applicable license terms. You agree to:
- Maintain records of your vocabulary usage and applicable licenses
- Provide documentation of licenses upon reasonable request
- Cooperate with any compliance audits conducted by OMOPHub or vocabulary owners
- Permit inspection of systems accessing the Service if there is reasonable suspicion of license non-compliance
8. Compliance Certification
By accepting this DUA and using the Service, you certify that:
- You have read and understand the licensing requirements for vocabularies you intend to access
- You have obtained or will obtain all necessary licenses before accessing Third-Party Content
- You will use vocabulary data only for purposes permitted by applicable licenses
- You will maintain compliance with all applicable license terms throughout your use of the Service
- You will promptly notify OMOPHub if your license status changes or if you become aware of any compliance issues
9. Term and Termination
This DUA is effective upon your acceptance and remains in effect until terminated in accordance with the Terms of Service. Upon termination:
- Your right to access vocabulary data through the Service immediately ceases
- You must cease all use of vocabulary data obtained through the Service except as permitted by your direct licenses with vocabulary owners
- You must delete any cached or stored vocabulary data unless retention is permitted by applicable licenses
- Your obligations under Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 survive termination
BY USING THE OMOPHUB SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS DATA USE AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND IT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.
